Happiness

We have a tendency to suffer from the “when-thens”. When I find the perfect mate, then I’ll be happy. When i find the perfect job, then I’ll be happy. When i find the perfect house, then I’ll be happy.

The problem with that way of thinking is that it depends on happen-Ings, which we can’t always control. But we can choose to control our attitude, and when we learn to do that, happiness finds us!

  1. Agreed! This is absolutely true because true happiness is neither accentuated nor detracted by happenings on the outside. Happiness depends, instead, upon a powerful feeling deep within our own self. This is why we are able to be very happy and full of gratitude for the wonderful life we have been given, despite the insanity that goes on in our world.
